April 15th Meeting Information
In attendance: Alyssa, Alexis, Jenn, Melissa (new member), Stacy (new member) and
Mimi who sat in traffic for two hours.
Dues: We decided that we would not have dues as of right now. Since most of us lead busy lives outside of the chapter we thought it would be easiest so we could all enjoy activities when we are able too.
Revlon Run/Walk: Or stroll as we put it Sunday.
Your $25 registration fee includes an EIF Revlon Run/Walk For Women t-shirt, medallion, and goodie bag. Registrations after May 2nd are subject to a $5 late fee. All participants who register before May 7th will receive a Run/Walk packet in the mail that includes a welcome letter, a pledge form, collection envelope, fundraising tips and participant ID number. Sister Circle: This is the MySpace of ASA. Its a fun way to meet new and reconect with old sisters. I am on there so come and join me and the other 3000 members. Let me know if you run into problems, I can always invite you.
ASA Sister Circle is an online networking community enabling Alpha Sigma Alpha members to network personally and professionally with other Alpha Sigma Alpha members. ASA Sister Circle is a members-only community. Because so many members love the idea of Sister Circle and the close connection they can maintain within their network, Alpha Sigma Alpha is pleased to provide this service for our members.
Next Meeting:
I wanted to see what everyones schedule was like during the summer. Since May 12th is our philanthropy, do we want to do something in July, we dont need to have a meeting, we could meet somewhere for brunch or if someone wanted to host a BBQ. Ideas???? Let me know. If anyone wants to meet up in June as well I am game, I was thinking of the Getty Musuem if interested let me know. We just have to have four meetings a year and the rest of the time can be fun things so start thinking of fun things too do. And whomever can come can come, that is the fun part about our group I think, I dont want to force outings on you, I just ask that you come to one of the meetings a year and maybe an outing to meet new members.
Officers: I am looking for a Secretary to take notes when we have a meeting, so if interested and thats all you have to do is come and write notes and give them to me, let me know.
